Take small steps; you have already started down the path to being interesting!

Explore new ideas, places and opinions.  You might be surprised, but things that are new to you likely will be interesting to others.

Talk to strangers, they can give you a different viewpoint that you would maybe not otherwise have considered. Take chances; don’t be afraid of embarrassment, ridicule, risk, wild ideas. Trust me, in a short time the things you learn in the process will start to set you apart from the ordinary.

Search for answers to things that you wonder about. Often the information you learn will become what others think of as “expertise”. It may be a new way for you to behave, but you will see in a short time that people think of you as being special.

Look with open eyes. It will set you apart. Notice, observe, spy, search for answers, but be respectful to others. To stand out even more, offer to help others even in small ways.

Compliment. Don’t be shy, just be truthful. People who seem unfriendly to you often want to be friendly. They may just not know how to start until you break the ice.
